The members of the Penn Wynne Fire Company send our condolences to the family and friends of William C. Daywalt, Sr. Mr. Daywalt was a former Assistant Chief and current Trustee of the King Of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA. Mr. Daywalt was injured on December 22, 2006 when the KPVFC was alerted to his residence for a house fire, which upon arrival had heavy fire showing. Mr. Daywalt received extensive burns, and passed away on December 27, 2006 due to the injuries sustained. Please keep the Daywalt family and the KPVFC in your prayers during this difficult time.
The Penn Wynne Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of past member and Merion Fire Company of Ardmore and Narberth Fire Company firefighter Tom Hays. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Santa will be riding through Penn Wynne, Ardmore, and parts of Wynnewood on Sunday, December 17, 2006. Listen up for the sirens. When you see the fire truck coming down your block, your family can come curbside and meet Santa and his helpers. We will be handing out candy canes to all the good boys and girls. We look forward to seeing you!
