ALL HANDS GO TO WORK IN BRYN MAWR
Date: 1/20/07 At 05:52 hours, Station 23 (Bryn Mawr) was dispatched to the 1000 block of Floyd Terrece for a reported building fire. Upon asking for more information, County advised they were getting multiple calls and the assignment was upgraded to a working building fire. This added station 25 (Ardmore), Engine & Air 24, and FAST Team Rescue 21. Chief 23 (Gallagher) quickly arrived on scene and reported heavy fire from the 2nd floor of a 2 story middle of the row. Ladder 23's crew aggresively attacked the fire, with the other crews searching, venting and checking for extension in the Bravo and Delta exposures. Rescue 21 went available around 7AM.

2007 SEMINAR TRAINING SCHEDULE POSTED
Date: 1/20/07 The Penn Wynne Fire Company, in conjunction with the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center, is proud to announce our upcoming 2007 Seminar Training Schedule. Posted on the Training page is the complete schedule of upcoming classes. Once a month, Penn Wynne will be hosting classes covering aspects of fire suppression, fireground support and rescue operations. All members of the Lower Merion Fire Department are welcome to attend.

MONSTER III ENERGY DRINK STOPS BY 21
Date: 1/20/07 Today members of the PWFC were visited by representatives of Monster III energy drink and they donated approximately two cases of the beverage for us to try out. Members took kindly to their Monster III Chevy pick up. We quickly began the negotiation process with them to donate this vehicle to the fire company. After several minutes of intense arbitration, we settled for some t-shirts.

ONE TRAPPED IN BRYN MAWR
Date: 1/11/07 At 0202 hours, Station 23 (Bryn Mawr), Rescue 21, and Rescue 22 (Belmont Hills) were dispatched to the 2000 block of West Montgomery Avenue for the vehicle accident with reported one trapped. Rescue 21 arrived on the scene and started extricating the patient with Squad 23. Rescue 21's crew removed the passengers side door, removed the roof, and performed a dash lift to free the patient. Rescue 21 was ready for service at 0255 hours.

TWO CAR ACCIDENT
Date: 1/10/07 At 1958 hours, Engine 21 and Rescue 21 were dispatched to City Avenue and Haverford Road for vehicle fire following an accident. Engine 21 arrived on scene to find a two car accident with no fire. The crews from the engine and rescue assessed the patients involved and cut the power to both vehicles. The units from 21 were ready for service at 2010 hours.
