The Officers and Members of the Penn Wynne - Overbrook Hills Fire Company would like extend our thoughts and prayers to the family of Firefighter Michael Reagan and the members of both the Sharon Hill Fire Company (Station 09) and the Holmes Fire Company (Station 43) in Delaware County. Firefighter Reagan succumbed to his injuries he received while operating at a structure fire in Sharon Hill last week. Please keep Firefighter Reagan’s family and his brothers and sisters of Sharon Hill and Holmes in your thoughts and prayers.

DELMONT DRIVE BLOCK PARTY

This afternoon, Engine 21 was requested to attend a neighborhood block party on Delmont Drive. The crew had a great time, meeting members of the community, and enjoying some good food. The children (and even some adults) were ecstatic to see our firefighting gear and equipment up close and personal. Later on we pulled the booster hose, and let the kids squirt some water. Thanks to the residents for inviting us.

This afternoon, some members took the time to take Rescue 21 to an area parking lot and capture some photos with all of the equipment it carries laid out in front of it. It was a harder task than we had imagined, but we are happy with the results. Have a happy and safe Labor Day!
