At lunch time today the company was dispatched to assist the Haverford Township Bureau of Fire with a brush fire that was upgraded to a dwelling fire after power lines came down sparking a brush fire that threatened surrounding structures. Crews created a perimeter to contain the fire and then stood by until PECO could arrive and ensure that the power lines were de-energized. Once the situation was safe, crews moved in to overhaul the area and ensure all pockets of fire were out.
