About 3:30pm today, the Penn Wynne Fire Company was dispatched to a residential building fire in their first due (district) on Indian Creek Road. With initial reports of fire inside the house and smoke showing from the outside, Penn Wynne firefighters arrived on scene and quickly stretched an 1-3/4" hoseline. Making a quick entry, crews advanced the hoseline for an offensive fire attack and make a quick knock on the fire in the rear of the house. The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished. Penn Wynne had great support from the other Lower Merion Fire Department companies including, Narberth, Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Union, and Belmont Hills, along with support from LMPD and Narberth Ambulance.
