| We remember the victims, traveling, going to work, and living lives that were taken from us too soon. We remember the first responders, running into the buildings and field to help get people out. We remember the heroes who gave their lives to save others, making the ultimate sacrifice.
In tragedies like 9/11, we remind you to take a breath and think about what Fred Rogers said:
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
There are thousands of helpers. Their good, the good embodied by those first responders on 9/11 will always be seen. |
