It has been a busy 12 hours for us. At 8:25 PM last night we were dispatched to assist Belmont Hills Fire Company on an accident with entrapment at State & Hillcrest with two occupants and a door to go. Squad 22 arrived, determined there was no entrapment and we were recalled. At 10:28 PM we responded to the 100 block of Harrogate Road for a fire alarm. At 6:35 AM this morning tones dropped for another accident with entrapment at City Avenue and Rock Glen Road bringing Rescue 21, Engine 21 and Squad 22 from Belmont Hills. The notes stated there was an overturned vehicle with one occupant inside and ruptured gas tank. Rescue and Chief 21 arrived along with Philadelphia Fire Department E41/L24. Chief 21 determined no entrapment and Squad 22 was recalled. Rescue 21 returned as well and Engine 21 remained on scene due to the gasoline spill handling the leak until the tow arrived. All injured parties were treated and/or transported by Narberth Ambulance.
